traditional values - modern thinking
Our partner Duncan Thomson and his wife Alyson are taking part again in the annual Etape Caledonia cycle race on Sunday 11 May (they are pictured in Pitlochry’s main street just after the start of last year’s event).
Starting and finishing in Pitlochry, the race takes in 81 miles of beautiful Highland Perthshire scenery along Lochs Tummel and Rannoch, past Schiehallion (Duncan is pictured just beginning the long descent), over to Fortingall, Weem, Strathtay and Logierait.
The public roads are closed at appropriate times to enable the 5,000 or so cyclists taking part to be Kings and Queens of the Road that day.
We wish them well and hope that they and all the other cyclists have a wonderful experience, so that like Duncan (pictured) they have a big grin on completing the course some four or five hours later.
