Seminar Double Bill: The Charity Trustees’ Toolkit and The Role of the Charity Chair
12 April 2017

Accredited Specialist in Charity Law, Colin Liddell, and Charity Law Solicitor, Sarah
Rennie, will be hosting their Annual Seminar for Charity Trustees and Charity Managers at The Soutar Theatre at the AK Bell Library, York Place, Perth at 6.30 p.m. on Tuesday 25th April 2017.

The evening will be split into two sessions:

‘The Charity Trustees’ Toolkit’ In the first session, from 6.30 p.m. – 7.30 p.m., Colin and Sarah will cover a variety of topics including the process for Trustee selection, Risk Management together with recent changes and current issues.

‘The Role of the Charity Chair’ In the second session, from 8 p.m. – 9 p.m., Colin will cover a subject which is relevant to all Trustees and not just Chairs, or Vice-Chairs, in order to understand the Chair’s role and challenges.

There will of course also be the usual Q & A session after each session and a short refreshment break in between.

Places are £10 per person for either or both sessions and all proceeds will be donated to this year’s nominated charity PKVAS, Scottish Charity Number SC005561

It is a case of ‘the more the merrier’ at our Annual Charity Seminar, where we recommend that as many Trustees of a charity try to attend the Seminar together, so that they can speak about it together afterwards.

If you would like to attend, please contact colin.liddell@hmitchell.co.uk to request a Booking Form.

There are a limited number of spaces and bookings will be dealt with on a first-paid, first-served basis.
